Creative workshops
At the end of 2020, creative workshops took place, consisting of a group of nine participants representing local farmers and local food producers from Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus, who have completed a theoretical training course and developed products that require packaging. The workshops were led by a professional designer – Georg Avetisyan. The result of these workshops is the visual identity of the organic product developed in this project and the packaging templates with the project identity. After the seminars, all participants are offered professional support and advice from the designer to further develop the packaging of their products through ongoing communication and face-to-face or video / Skype meetings.
During the creative workshops, participants had the opportunity to learn more about EU requirements for labeling, detailed packaging and labels. Before all the practical work designer together with the participants did preparations – they had developed labels, business cards and other products of visual element manufacturers. During these workshops, they are printed on the equipment purchased by the project – Mutoh UV LED printer. Once these works were completed, the participants went to the photo studio, creating product photos and gained other knowledge about high-quality photography’s importance in marketing.
